Black Queer Indy is a group where LGBTQIA+ adults of African ancestry in the Indy area can find each other, have fun, and grow in healthy community. Allies are welcome.

During our first meetup, we came up with these norms:
- easy access (time, parking, cost)
- fun, laughter, joy
- safety
- respect for one another at all times
- no 'you're weird' vibes
- casualness
- consistency
- open, honest talk
- feeling seen and heard

- activism & organizing
These norms and activity ideas can and will change! If you show up, you're a part of this community. Your ideas will be sought, heard, and -- when possible and good for the group as a whole -- applied.
