The purpose of this group is for New York City & vicinity professional black women to come together, meet & greet and embrace our new midlife. You should join if you're in your fabulous 50s and over into the '60s! This is a time for reflection and thankfulness as we grow older very gracefully. Let's share our stories and experiences.

Meetup events at restaurants social drinking is tolerated in moderation.
Picture required for your profile: no symbols, nature scenes, actual pic of self so we know who you are.
Guidelines:
Membership has it's benefits and being part of this group of professional & fabulous women the bar is raised..meaning it's only courteous to change your rsvp 48 hours prior to a meetup. A cancellation of less than 24 hours is considered a last-minute cancellation (LMC). \
Please do not RSVP and you have no intentions to attend; meetup.com sends out several notifications through email. \
1 No Show/No Call/Text messages will automatically remove you from the group.
You must arrive on time for the assigned lunch, dinner, or event time. Please schedule your arrival 15 minutes before the meetup, especially as a courtesy to restaurants who are holding our reservations. \
Stay fabulous and do the right thing for much time it takes to organize and plan for all of us. A lot of effort and time goes into planning events, and often times venues require credit cards to reserve for large parties. If I make arrangements for a large party then the venue is expecting that amount of patrons. \
So out of courtesy to the organizer please be mindful of LMC: last-minute cancellations. I am aware that things may come up at the last minute, but just send me a note and that would be a great gesture. Frequent last-minute cancellations will justify a reason for removal from the group.
