New Year's Day Mini Retreat & Burning Bowl Ceremony

As we stand on the threshold of another year, it’s an opportunity to carve out time for reflection, acknowledgement, and assessment of where we’ve been so that we are able to determine our next best step forward in creating a life of health, love, and vitality.

Join us New Year's Day for a very special Tapas inspired mini retreat to honor, integrate, and transmute "what has been" into "what is yet to come." Tapas is a powerful tool for transformation. It is often referred to as an inner fire, that energetic part of you which invokes a fervor of striving to be the highest version of you. Together we will forge a new path forward, emerging into the new year with intention and centeredness, and with our hearts and palms soft, open, and receptive.

We will circle up for a special burning bowl ceremony. Fire is a powerful symbol of wisdom, knowledge, passion, and purification; and rituals and ceremonies like the burning bowl can be a sacred and powerful way to release negativity and lower energy from your life.
​
Gentle yoga, revitalizing pranayama, reflection, poetry, deep listening, mindful activities, building a sacred altar, sharing, chanting, herbal tea, and a rejuvenating sound bath.
​
Bring your yoga mat, a journal if you have one (we will have paper), and dress comfortably.

Please bring your own yoga mat. Studio mat rentals are $3 each.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Our events and classes begin and end on time. To ensure the safety and comfort of our attendees, presenters, and staff, the doors will lock promptly at the posted start time and late entries will not be permitted. Please do not knock on the door if you are late and the door is locked.

​Black Cat Yoga workshops and events are nonrefundable, and your reservation can only be used for the date it was purchased for. In the event that a workshop or event is canceled by us, participants will receive a full refund or a credit to their studio account. Absence or late arrivals to a workshop or series are nonrefundable.
