Join us in central Utrecht to play Blood on the Clocktower!
BotC is a social deduction game similar to Werewolf, but better! You're not out of the game when you die, and because everyone gets a special power, there's a lot more thinking and whispering, rather than finger pointing and shouting.

Beginners are very welcome, but please watch this short how to play video (10min) and, preferably, also read the rules (4 pages) beforehand. New players should start by playing Trouble Brewing (TB), so please also read the script for TB (1 page), which shows all the different characters in the game. There's even more information on the wiki but it's not necessary to read that before your first game.
Please note:
- There are many different scripts. I (Toby) usually run TB, with George running another script, but please note the scripts available at each event before signing up.
- Both I and George run the game in English, and you will need to speak English fairly well to participate.
- We usually run games in the back room at "The 5th", a café on Neude next door to StayOkay, but again, please check the location when signing up.
- Entrance is €2.50. You can pay by Tikkie or cash at the event.
Problems signing up?
If you have problems joining the group or event, please try following this list:
- Join Meetup first, add a profile picture, then join the group and lastly join the event.
- If you have problems in the app, try using a browser.
- Try Chrome if you usually use something else.
- If you still can't join, you'll have to ask Meetup for help, but, in the meantime, email me and I'll add you as my guest (please don't use meetup messaging as I don't get notifications - instead email me at [email protected])
