90 Minute Group Counseling Session
How many times have you started a diet after Thanksgiving? The abundance of food, the highs and lows of family time, the "I'll never eat that much again!". The week after Thanksgiving is a sneaky time for diet culture to try and get you to go on a diet no matter how long you have been an Intuitive Eater.
Instead of detoxing from turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes (like some diets would suggest) we will focus on detoxing from the pressures of body image and food that come up around the holidays.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to introduce themselves
Intuitive Eating Message
A message will be shared by our facilitator about Principle #1: Reject Diet Culture
T-Chart Activity
Attendees will be guided through a worksheet activity to explore the Diet Culture thoughts that came up over the holiday
Attendee Sharing
Each person will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about the message/activity and how it relates to their experience in the past week with Thanksgiving.
