Who Can Join?
If you're curious, open-minded, and playful, Blue Dot is for you! This is a community for anyone looking to explore their creativity in a relaxed and inviting environment. Open to all levels, whether you're a pro artist, or have never even thought of yourself as creative. All ages are welcome.
Who's My Guide?
Tim McMullen is an abstract artist, founder of Blue Dot Studio, and the creator behind the #TellMyStory Project — a daily drawing challenge for connecting with your authentic voice and sharing your unique life experiences through art. He brings a lifelong background in fine art, including a BFA from University of California Long Beach and an MFA from University of Illinois Chicago. He is now an abstract painter, teaches 1:1 painting lessons at his South Pasadena studio, and shares lessons on mindful creativity through Blue Dot's pop-ups, blog, and social media.
