Hunting is taking place so it is required that all hikers wear orange blaze vests and/or hats to increase visibility.

This hike is for strong advanced hikers. Rocky, steep trails on the Skyline Trail. Start by ascent up Houghton Hill then to Skyline to Brookwood Farm, S Skyline to Tower, mixed trails back to Pond. Plenty of hills.

This hike is not for beginners. You need recent experience on hills at a fast pace. We hike up the hills fairly nonstop. Although we do stop briefly for delayering, water.

We will meet at exit end of Houghton’s Pond lot away from benches.

The hike route will be altered depending on trail conditions.
Brief stops for delayering and water breaks.

Please make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes - hiking boots.
Remember to bring snacks to keep your endurance up, and carry at least 1 liter of water.
