Varied trails to the Geezer trail up to Buck.
We will meet at the children's playground end of Houghton's Pond parking lot at 4pm and leave promptly at that time.

Note: Everyone goes on the Wait List until we place you on the hike. We are limited to 15 attendees.

Re: the hike:

\*No guests are permitted on BHHC hikes.

\*No dogs on this hike, please.

\*Please bring a pack (fanny or back) with at least 1.5 liter of water or other drink. Also recommended: nutritious snacks for endurance energy, electrolytes (Nuun tablets or EmergenC packets dissolved in your water provides helpful energy boost), sun screen, and bug spray (mosquitoes, ticks, etc. Permethrin sprayed on your boots and clothing is the most effective re ticks.) Please dress in layers so you can adjust your comfort, and make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes - hiking boots preferred. Hiking poles are also helpful for stability.

This is a moderate paced hike with water breaks.
