Come and play boardgames with others in English!
This event is hosted by the Játszóház projekt. This group organizes game nights, they provide the games and explain the rules if you need it. They have a huge collection of board games, check it out here. If you wish to play with a specific game, they will ask what games to bring, usually on the day of the event in a facebook post. We usually split up into smaller groups based on games, and switch as the night goes on, so you can arrive late. You can bring your own game or choose one from the pile!
Important
This event is not free! You will have to buy a wristband at the entrace for 1000 HUF (500 HUF for students). You can pay with cash, or you can buy your ticket online. You can buy drinks and food at the bar, please don't bring your own— — —

Come meet people and play new board games with the international members of the BFG Whatsapp group! Link to join the chatis here. We’ll reserve a few tables at Vault 51 and then play games in smaller groups throughout the evening.
Note: Vault 51 requires that you pay a 600 Ft table fee per person at the bar.
Feel free to bring games you want to play or play something from the bar’s collection. We normally have around 20 people in attendance and split into tables of 3-7 players to play several different games at the same time
Hot food and snacks are available from the bar until about 10pm
Spots for this event are limited to not go too far over our table reservation, so please change your RSVP if you are not able to attend
When you arrive We will be in the wood-panelled Taverna room on the left past the toilets. If you’ve walked past the bar you’ve made a wrong turn

Come and play boardgames in English at Open Doors Hungary. We’ll be playing board games and collecting optional material donations in support of Cipősdoboz, details below*
The event is free and no donation is necessary, but there is a limit for up to 24 people. Please if you can't come free up your space for someone else!
There is no bar, or option to buy food there, but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
There some games also, but you can bring your own games. In that case, you have to teach us :)
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
*Donation Drive Information:
At a later date in December we will make shoeboxes to donate and take them to a collection point, from there the organizers will take it to childrens in need.
The boxes are will be given to childrens (0-18 yrs old). They expect these kind of thing is the boxes:
- Toys (Lego, Plush toys, baby toys, etc)
- Stationery (Notebook, pen, pencil)
- Snacks (at least 3 months expiring time)
- Hygiene Products (Shampoo, toothbrush, shower gel...)
- Books, comic books
- DIY stuffs (Paint, brush, coloring book)
- Also we will need some empty, clean shoeboxes and wrapping paper to make the package :)
- You can put in some messages, postcards, drawings or greeting cards, we can help you write it in Hungarian, but do not provide any personal information!
What NOT to bring:
- Anything that resembels weapon like toy knife, pistol etc...
- Video games
- Anything fragile
- Anything broken or useless
- Any food with low shelf life (Fruit,diary,), and no canned food
