Work is hard. Work is long. Let's start the weekend early with board games! We welcome all skill levels from people who haven't played before to gamers who love crunchy heavy strategy. The event starts at 6. I understand this can be early for people to get off of work and fight traffic to get here. If you can't make it here by 6, that's fine. People usually socialize and eat dinner for 30-45m until they start playing games.

Some rules:
1\. This meetup is a potluck\. If possible\, bring a dinner main/side\. Homemade is great\, but store/restaurant bought is fine too\. If you don't have time for that\, a dessert or snack is also welcome\.
2\. Be Kind\! This is a festival of fun\. If anyone makes you uncomfortable\, please bring it to my attention or one of the organizers\.
3\. Bring games if you want\, or just bring yourself\. Usually a bunch of people bring games\. If not\, I have a decent library too\. \([Game List](https://docs.google.com/document/d/16eN-SbilFSdtSYs4AT4bxTChJsGM8KXCmnHIUiy0rPw/edit?usp=sharing)).
4\. Once again\, if you can't make it here by 6\, that's fine\. I know traffic sucks\. If you are going to be late\, post a comment saying when you are going to be here and what type of game you want to play\. It allows people to plan when to start games\.

There are usually 3-4 games going at a time. One is usually a party game. These tend to be able to add/drop players anytime. If you arrive after all the games have started, you'll likely be able to join the party table.

The main house is climate controlled (AC/heat). If all the tables in the living area are taken, there is an overflow room. It is unfortunately poorly insulated, so it can get hot or cold in there. Jackets might be necessary. We usually can fit people in the living area though.
