## What is Tai Chi?
What is Tai Chi all about? Tai Chi refers to the natural balance of life energy. Since ancient times, people have noticed that Nature tends to find balance, and they’ve developed methods to tap into this natural energy phenomenon.
## How does Tai Chi work?
Tai Chi exercises emphasize energy circulation, breathing and balance, along with mindfulness and concentration. You can practice these exercises while standing, seated or even while lying down. Over time, by practicing Tai Chi you can develop a heightened awareness of your own energy. Many people report feeling physically stronger and lighter, with emotions more calm and mind more clear.

What is Tai Chi good for? Tai Chi practice is recommended for overall wellness. It can help with balance, alignment, and stress reduction. Tai Chi exercises can also serve as a form of meditation. When you arrive please remove your shoes. Meg will be there to say hello and have you fill out a visitor information sheet. Then, you'll receive a brief introduction to the class. The class itself will be 60-70 minutes including warm-ups, stretching, Tai Chi, Qigong flow and breathing/meditation. After class there will be an opportunity to meet with the instructor as well as other students, and to receive more information if you'd like to continue taking class with us!
