Dispatched Divorcée Launch

Join us as we celebrate the launch of the Dispatched Divorcée – a community of and for women who are defining, building, and thriving in the chapter of their lives after divorce. We take the shame out of divorce and put you back in the center of your life.

We’re partnering with our friends at BOLD Coffee & Books to throw a party in a bookstore you’ve never seen before and don’t want to miss!

Join us if:

• You’re a divorcée who is building her life after divorce and wants to do it in the company of other divorcées.
• You’re a friend of a divorcée.
• You’re neither and want to be in the company of women living life by their own rules and wonder, what is this Dispatched Divorcée thing I keep hearing about?

A conversation about community between the founder of Dispatched Divorcée, Laura Howe, and BOLD Coffee & Books founder, Ali Shaw, moderated by writer and editor, Tara Calihman.

Grab a bite and a cocktail with the community
Raise a glass to toast our community of divorcées and friends of divorcées alike! We’re providing heavy snacks and sweets along with a hosted bar with signature cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic fizzy beverages will be available for guests over 21 — don’t worry, drinks are on us.

Browse the Divorcée Bookshelf
It isn’t until we hear the voices and stories of other people like us to know that we’re not alone. That’s why we partnered with BOLD to feature the Divorcée Bookshelf filled with women’s stories about their divorce.

Send a card to someone you care about
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to send a postcard to someone you are proud of, someone you miss (who is not your ex!), or someone you appreciate.
Don’t forget to bring their mailing address with you – we’ll pay for the stamp and mail it for you!

(Temporary) Tattoo Station
Get that (temporary) tattoo that you didn’t have the guts to get when your divorce was finalized.

Go home with some cool stuff!
The bookstore will be open all night if you decide you want to take some books from the Divorcée Bookshelf home with you or other books that speak to you from the shelves of BOLD.

We will also have a limited number of Welcome Kits (aka hug-in-a-box) available for sale and memberships in the Dispatched Divorcée community. This is a perfect gift to buy for yourself or a divorcée you love.
Limited-edition Dispatched Divorcée merchandise, including the debut of the Divorced Divas Fan Collection, will also be available for purchase.
There is no limit on the number of goodies you decide to go home with

All attendees will receive a special gift and be entered to win drawings throughout the night. Plus, we have a special gift just for divorcées.

• This event is free to attend, but you must register
• Hosted heavy snacks and sweets and a hosted bar for our guests 21+
• You do not need to be divorced or a woman to attend
