*You would love to share a meal with interesting women from around the Seattle-metro area. (Brunch, wine-tasting, etc.)
*You want to explore new cultures through our Women's Travel Book Club.
*You want to embrace your BOLD self and encourage other women to do the same!
We host a variety of meetups. For example, we have a monthly Women's Travel Book Club and would love for you to join us.
We also have speakers each month who share travel tips about exciting destinations and help you to plan your next adventure.
Sometimes, (depending on the COVID situation) we meet for a meal, like a brunch, and just chat about travel. Other times, we meet for mini-workshops. And sometimes, we gather and have day-trip adventures together here in Washington.

Welcome to the winter wonderland of Leavenworth, Washington.
ALL WOMEN, SMALL GROUP TOUR FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Situated at the foot of craggy, snow-covered peaks, this adorable Bavarian-themed town glows bright each December in millions of colorful holiday lights.
The Leavenworth area is known for its rugged mountains and outdoor adventures, while the town itself offers cute shops, hearty German-style eateries, and ample photo opportunities.
On this trip, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, spending three days in December in this world-famous Pacific Northwest destination with a group of fun and adventurous women like you.
This is an all-women, small-group trip.
- DATES: December 16 - 18, 2025
- HOTEL: 2 nights at the Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth included in rate

Your Tour Leader: Caroline is an avid outdoorswoman and has hiked all of the Pacific Crest Trail. She lives near Leavenworth and is the author of Moon Drive & Hike: The Pacific Crest Trail. This is a special opportunity to experience this diverse area with an expert.

DETAILS & ART:
9:45 AM
- Arrive at the VIA Artistica studio in TaborSpace.
- Grab a coffee, tea, and breakfast goodie and get settled at the big art table with your supplies.
- Choose a card to guide you today.
- We tap into our creativity and find grounding through guided meditation.
10:00AM
- Embark on a guided exploration of the word you have chosen and/or a word that has chosen you.
- Kirsten provides prompts and some fun tools which help your word become clearer.
- We will explore our "words" as we create our mixed media artwork, which will be a combination of acrylic paint, lush textured papers, and other collage materials.
- Kirsten will explain how to use the materials—no worries if you are a novice artist, you will have plenty of support.
- You will be able to choose from a wide array of deluxe materials (all included in price) and benefit from personalized instruction.
12:30PM
- Lunch. Put down the paintbrush.
- You are near many eateries in SE Portland. Pop out for lunch and a break before returning to the studio to finish up.
- There is also a coffee shop in TaborSpace.
2:00PM
- This is a multi-step process so enjoy getting into the flow.
- Add the finishing touches on your painting and complete your art piece.
- Share your Word insights with other participants.
- Your finished piece will be 12" x 12", ready to hang, and will be a beautiful touchstone to inspire you throughout the year.
4:30PM
- Class ends.
- Take your finished piece home with you after a great day of art, fun, and connection.
