Are you ready to welcome in 2025?

Choose your guiding word for 2025 with a group of fun-loving women and your artist facilitator during this in-person workshop.

What word(s) will guide you and define you in 2025?

DETAILS & ART:

9:45 AM

• Arrive at the VIA Artistica studio in TaborSpace.
• Grab a coffee, tea, and breakfast goodie and get settled at the big art table with your supplies.
• Choose a card to guide you today.
• We tap into our creativity and find grounding through guided meditation.

10:00AM

• Embark on a guided exploration of the word you have chosen and/or a word that has chosen you.
• Kirsten provides prompts and some fun tools which help your word become clearer.
• We will explore our "words" as we create our mixed media artwork, which will be a combination of acrylic paint, lush textured papers, and other collage materials.
• Kirsten will explain how to use the materials—no worries if you are a novice artist, you will have plenty of support.
• You will be able to choose from a wide array of deluxe materials (all included in price) and benefit from personalized instruction.

12:30PM

• Lunch. Put down the paintbrush.
• You are near many eateries in SE Portland. Pop out for lunch and a break before returning to the studio to finish up.
• There is also a coffee shop in TaborSpace.

2:00PM

• This is a multi-step process so enjoy getting into the flow.
• Add the finishing touches on your painting and complete your art piece.
• Share your Word insights with other participants.
• Your finished piece will be 12" x 12", ready to hang, and will be a beautiful touchstone to inspire you throughout the year.

4:30PM

• Class ends.
• Take your finished piece home with you after a great day of art, fun, and connection.
• Welcome to your new year!

IMPORTANT: Dress for mess and plan for an inspiring, playful, and profound day of deepening your connection to yourself and others. We will provide smocks but don’t wear anything you don’t want stained with paint or glue.
