Boost Ride Out Event #2 - Bay Tree Café in Retford

Hey everyone,
We’re excited to announce another Boost Meetup Ride Out, an 18-mile round trip.
Starting Point: Bay Tree Café in Retford Date: Saturday, 16th of November (weather permitting) Meeting Time: 11:00 AM to ride out around 11.30 AM Location: The Bay Tree Café, situated on the canal side in Retford
We'll kick things off at the Bay Tree Café, where you can enjoy some excellent coffee, tea, and cakes. From there, we’ll ride out of Retford down London Road, turning off towards Eaton Wood. Our route will take us through the serene country roads of Upton and East Drayton, before heading towards Darlton and Cobbs Country Store.
Midway Stop: At the Bird Hide Coffee Lounge, we’ll indulge in more delicious coffee, homemade cakes, and hot cobs. Take care while crossing the busy A57, but rest assured, it's a short distance to our lovely halfway stop.
Return Journey: We’ll head back to The Bay Tree Café, passing through East Drayton, Stokeham, and then to Headon. We’ll have a short stop at Headon Airfield to watch microlight aircraft taking off and landing, weather permitting. Finally, we’ll return to Retford, wrapping up our ride with, if you wish, more coffee and cake at the café, leaving you with a sense of accomplishment and newfound connections.
