International, culturally diverse, multilingual: these are the rich flavors of Fairfax; our vibrant city, humming with the fresh perspectives of immigrants from all nations.
We welcome dynamic adults in 40-50s who enjoy widening their cultural horizons by meeting denizens from different parts of the world while having fun doing interesting sports (kayaking, rock wall climbing, archery, biking, etc.), dining at ethnic restaurants, attending cultural events, or breaking bread together at old-fashion pot-luck dinners.

Join fellow Borderlinkers as we gather together to see the 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights as dozens of brightly lit boats cruise along one mile of the Potomac River shoreline. Enjoy dockside festivities in Waterfront Park including a pop-up beer garden from Port City Brewing Company, food, activities and more.
