Boston Modular and Synth will meet at synthCube, in Waltham, MA on the afternoon of Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Performers should arrive at 1:30 PM to set up.
This event is free and open to the public.
We welcome anyone who has an interest in making and performing electronic music, whether through keyboard synths, modular gear, drum machines, grooveboxes, samplers, livecoding or other laptop performance styles, chiptune, trackers, etc. Folks are welcome to bring out gear to set up, show off, and perform short sets with (5 minutes max). Gear is not mandatory - you can just come to learn and listen! We welcome people of all skill levels and music genres. We also welcome presentations on related topics, as long as presenters stay in the timeframe.
We have power outlets, but performers should supply their own power strips, extension cables, and headphones. We will have a PA system available for people to plug into during performances.
