TechOps Talk : Network and Learn
Details
While Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) as a discipline originated at Google, and was formed at that time, by a team consisting of 50–60% software engineers and 40–50% with additional expertise in UNIX system internals and networking (Layer 1 to Layer 3), its principles extend far beyond just software engineering. This team was established to effectively run the software and systems behind Google’s public services and products, focusing on their availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
Today, these foundational principles and practices can be applied across various fields, including cloud and data engineering.
In this upcoming tech meetup, we'll explore how core SRE principles contribute to the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of systems across diverse domains, particularly in data-driven applications and cloud architectures.
Join us for an insightful evening of networking and tech talks, where our incredible guests will share their experiences in building and running systems using well-architected framework as well as SRE practices
