See all- 1-Day Trip to OkemoOkemo Mountain Resort, Ludlow, VT
Our annual trip to Okemo is coming up! So pumped.
There will be two main options for getting up there.
- Come up with me the night before. There are affordable motel options in nearby Claremont, NH, so we can stay there on Friday 1/3 and then carry on in the morning.
- Go up from Boston on Saturday morning 1/4. It's about a 2h45 ride to Okemo, so leaving around 6am is advisable.
I'm also open to staying up there an extra day on Sunday. In any case, please post your travel + logistics preferences in the forum below and we can sort everything out.
See here for details on Okemo Resort. It's on the Epic Pass and day passes are available for purchase.

Bonjour les aventuriers!
I will be spending my February break in Canada, including four days in Quebec City, and wanted to see if anyone would like to join me up there for that portion of the trip. I can offer:
- A ride from Boston to Quebec City on Feb 14/15.
- Rides to all of the skiing/hiking/sightseeing spots while we are up in QC.
- A ride to the Quebec City airport once we are done.
- A ride to Montreal and Montreal afterwards, if you wish to carry on with me to that portion of the trip. While in Quebec City, the main ski options are:
- Mt. Ste Anne, available on Epic Pass
- Stoneham, available on Epic Pass
- Le Massif, day passes availableThere are also chances to get winter hiking in:
- Parc Jacques Cartier, good for elevation
- Plaines de Abrahim, a former battlefield now an urban park
- Montmorency Waterfall, taller than Niagara Falls! And when we are not doing outdoor sports, we can take advantage of the many cultural and culinary offerings across Quebec City, including
- Beautiful Old Town Quebec-- you'll swear you've been teleported to Europe!
- Siberia Station Spa, a great thermal bath spot, the ideal post-winter-sports destination.
- Museums (Musee des Beaux Arts and Musee de la Civilisation are the ones I know and like. But there are others!)
- Live Music-- Bar Ste Angele, Fou-Bar, Grand Theatre de Quebec and more.
- Ile D'Orleans-- a cool island across the river with its very own chocolate shop! Among other spots.
- International culinary scene-- Indian, Tunisian, French etc. are all available.Should be a blast! Please indicate if you are interested here and we can discuss further travel, lodging, itinerary details etc. as well.
Au revoir mes amis!
