Transparent Communication Practice Group Meeting

Details

*** Please Note:
This event will be a way for anyone interested to explore if they'd like to be a member of this group, co-creating connection together over a 6-month period starting in January. We invite you to come learn and see if this practice resonates with you.

Developed by Thomas Hubl, Transparent Communication the skill of relating with one another in a way so that even when we disagree, we can stay connected and related without canceling each other. We practice together in a safe space where we have the trust in one another- and in the group- to hold us as we experiment, make mistakes, fail, fall down, and try again. This is a practice group where we care for each other as we learn to feel our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual reactions while we listen to someone speak about themselves.

Sustained practice in this work offers new openings in how we relate to others over time. For example, when I listen to someone speak and hold myself responsible for what I feel, I create awareness of my own cognitive screens and filters that alter what I hear as I listen. When I become aware of the filters that color what I hear I can also become aware of how those filters alter what I speak.

This practices enables us to discover who we are, so we can live beyond those filters, individually and collectively.

This is a facilitated space, led by two trained co-leaders, who offer clear direction and guidance; seasoned practitioners and beginners are welcome. This is not a therapy group. It’s not a healing group, although healing may happen. In this practice, we are all on the learning path.
