Do you work so hard all day long or too busy during weekdays and no chance to hike? Do you want to feel the mountain fresh air, smell the pine or ponderosa trees, enjoy the vistas, give your body a good workout? Maybe this hike is for you.

The weather looks nice this Saturday. Let’s take advantage of no bikes on Saturdays at Betasso Preserve. I have not been hiking here in a long time. This hike is considered a moderate hike (by Alltrails), about 8 - 8.5 miles long, 1,200 ft of EG. We got snow last week, so bring your spikes and your other winter hiking gear in case you need it. Prepare yourself for all the possibilities of the trail conditions such as mud, snow slush, wet and/or slick trails, etc. There is a restroom at the trailhead.

Bring your own snacks (or lunch) and enough water for yourself.
