What we’re about
Hi new potential members.
"Motion is Lotion" : we believe that "Exercise is Therapy" both physically and mentally so join us for unforgettable trails and travel. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountains with other nature enthusiasts exploring many different trails. The majority of the hikes are moderate (4 to 7 miles) with some elevation.
We have led more than 140 hikes the last 2.5 years, we are looking forward to hiking with you.
Please, read the criteria here and become familiar with what is required to become and also to remain a member.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Often people ask questions about information already in the description of each hike. Please read the full description before asking any questions or sending me DMs via meetup.
We are trying to motivate people to get out there and hike, but we also need you to motivate yourself and not sit inactive on a membership list. Same day cancellation = No show -- 4 same day cancellations, no shows, or LATE cancellations will be a cause to remove you from the group. I prefer active members, so if you haven't hiked with us for 4 months you will most likely be removed from the group. You can always reapply for a membership if you decide to be active again and would like to sign up for events.
Do not use this group as a networking opportunity or a dating service. This group is for having fun conversations, making friends and enjoying nature together. Please report to me any sexual harassment or other inappropriate or rude behavior. Act civilized, respect others and bring peace, kindness, and a positive attitude to each hike or trip.
RELEASE of LIABILITY: Each time you sign up for a walk/hike, you also acknowledge that you are personally responsible for your own safety and well-being throughout the event. We are groups leader and do not have medical skills. You are liable for any injury or illness that may happen during any event you are participating in. Guests must also be members and sign up seperately. Please sign up for walks/ hikes that are within your fitness level so you can stay safe and enjoy the hikes!
