6:00 PM ** 2024 Dionysus Day Pre-Thanksgiving Semi-Formal Wine Event

PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP

This is for the 6:00 PM Start Time we have 5 different start times, to make the check in process easier and smoother. If the time you want it is full, please sign up for a later time. You can wait-list for your desired, if you come off the wait-list, please cancel the other reservation.

Once again we are hosting Dionysus Day, Pre-Thanksgiving SEMI-FORMAL Wine Tasting and would love it if you could make it.

MAIN INFO

If you have never been to this event, it is quite an event. (there will be some non meetup people here, just like in years past we invite our friends as well)

It is the day before Thanksgiving, So if you are in town, you know you don't have anything you have to do early the next day.

It is a blind wine tasting, and you are asked to bring a bottle of wine with you that we will bag up when you come in and it will be placed out for tasting.

PLEASE BRING NO FOOD
We will handle all of the food. We are asking people instead to contribute at least $10 per person which also serves as the yearly fundraiser for the Meetup Costs for the group.

We will also have fun beers and other beverages to try

There will be an optional grading sheet or to make it greener, I have created an online app that you can use, that is at:

From here you can track, by number, the wines you like and what you thought they were. We will have a spreadsheet with all of the wines on it and it will be posted online likely on Friday.

So please bring a bottle of wine you would like others to try (We will be provide a TON of other food, bring your appetite)

IT IS A SEMI FORMAL EVENT
Meaning you MUST dress up. We know this means different things for different people, but Suits and Dresses are highly encouraged. Dress up like you were going to something fancy, because you are. NO COMPLAINING, you know you want to dress up, you just don't have an excuse to, but don't fear, this is your excuse. It really adds to the event.

• IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK, or of this is outside of your comfort zone, please choose to miss this event. We will have it again next year.

PARKING

Parking is best to park on Meller, between Erie Parkway and Leyner. While our house is on Beshear, it also touches Meller and that will be closer parking. Beshear is a Cul De Sac, and will fill up FAST. It is the one with the well in the drive way (It will make sense when you see it) 2nd on the left in the Cul de Sac

If you plan on Ubering or Lyfting home, consider taking the Long Jump bus route from boulder, it drops off a half block from our house. The last one back to Boulder is at 9:40 ish. Just make sure you take the Jump to Erie, Some JUMP buses just go to Lafayette. Bus route link is listed below. Our stop is not listed, but it is the stop right before Erie Community Center, It is Meller and Erie Parkway Stop.
