A 5 ½ mile circular walk starting from Potterne Park car park, through Potterne Wood to Moors Valley Country Park. Here we’ll spend a while taking in the amazing Earth Photo 2024 exhibition, before heading over the Tree Tops Trail. There will be a refreshment stop at the Visitors’ Centre, before setting off back to the car park past the lake and through Rushmoor Heath. The walk is level, mostly on very good surfaces and there are no stiles. There may be a little mud in places.

More bus X6 passes close to Potterne Park. Stops at Lake Road Surgery and Potterne Bridge (depending whether coming from Bournemouth or Poole) are each a few minutes' walk away.
