We’ll start at 3:00 in the afternoon. Around 3:05 we'll cross street at front of the bar to see waterfall (Devil's Pool); then cross street back to drawbridge for another view of waterfall. Crossing street means looking out for cars as it's a busy time but doing this early at daylight means less cars. Then we'll walk by cabins, loop back, and eat early dinner at Buzzard Bar around 4:00. After eating when it's getting dark, we'll start paved walk at the lower level of Buzzard Bar at bottom of hill parking lot and see the lights! Feel free to bring flashlights, headlamps, trekking poles, water, and whatever else you might need.

We’ll meet outside at front porch of Buzzard Bar.

How to get there:

From Highway 86 look for “Big Cedar Lodge” sign and then look for Devil’s Pool Road and turn into this road. Next, turn into Ravine Drive that's towards bottom of hill. There is only one way to turn into these roads.

Follow sign to “Devil’s Pool Marina Cabins,” go past ice skating rink which will be on the right, drive over water crossing, veer right, follow “Devil’s Pool” sign, Buzzard Bar will be on your right and turn right before covered bridge for parking. The bar is located at lower level of Devil's Pool Restaurant.

Buzzard Bar has extra parking at the side, down the hill.

To exit the lodge grounds, drive through covered-lit bridge at front of Buzzard Bar and follow “Exit” signs.
