## Seasonal Yoga, Meditation and Sound Bath Day Retreat with Anna Oldfield.
About the event:
This seasonal day retreat will explore the energy and symbolism of the autumn, and offer participants the opportunity to consider how this relates to their lives right now. We will invite the body and mind to rest, reflect and rejuvenate through gentle movement practices, guided meditation (Yoga Nidra), and sound baths where participants are bathed in the soothing sounds of gongs, singing bowls and chimes. Creative practices such as journaling or mindful crafting will complement the somatic practices, by facilitating an exploration of our inner storytelling and sense-making processes as we reflect upon our journey through the year so far set nourishing intentions for the coming months.About the facilitator:
Anna is an Oxford-based yoga, guided meditation and sound bath facilitator, whose work centres on seasonal themes. Through movement, guided meditation, creative practices and sound baths, she encourages participants to connect with the land we’re living upon and tune in to nature’s cycles of change. She is a big advocate of rest as a revolutionary act, and believes that offering ourselves an opportunity to slow down, reflect and integrate, then consciously set new intentions, builds resilience and is one of the most important acts of self-care.Tickets from £65. ## A weekend retreat with Sam Settle & Sally Buxton.
About the event:
This is a weekend of deep meditation and yoga, where you can discover that – amazingly – you are completely fulfilled from the start. Sam Settle and Sally Buxton will offer plenty of silence to give you a chance to become intimate with the presence of who you are. As the mind and heart becomes quiet, the ego rests itself too. Then it all begins. The asana and pranayama sessions will free the body so you can sit easily in meditation. Braziers Park is set in a beautiful landscape. There will be times to enjoy it by day and under the moon and stars by night.About the facilitators:
Sally Buxton is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher, and holds classes for women prisoners in HMP Eastwood Park. She likes to sit in silence at the Quaker Meeting house in Cirencester and is a member of the Oxford Zen Centre.
Sam Settle ordained as a Buddhist monk in a Thai monastery in the 1990s. As the Director of the Prison Phoenix Trust from 2010-2020, he taught prisoners yoga and meditation and supported other yoga teachers to do so.Course fees:
