Houston's First December Portuguese Meetup! Christmas Time!

Hello everyone,

Already in the Christmas mood? It's time to close the season.

Please join our Portuguese Meetup at Emporio Brazilian Grill for a Christmas-themed moment. At this time of year, we usually suggest something related to the Christmas theme. Traditionally in Brazil, people usually get together to participate in the exchange of gifts between friends. On this day, we will ask people to bring a gift to participate in the traditional Brazilian game, called hidden friend or secret friend (amigo oculto ou amigo secreto). The rules will be explained when you get there. The gift must be worth US$10 or more, but it must be a gift that you can give to a man or a woman. We will start the game around 9:30 pm. We welcome any suggestions.

And to top off the evening, Emporio will offer us the opportunity to listen to authentic Brazilian music again, with our dear and well-known Bruno Santana. It will be a fun time with typical Brazilian food that we promise you won't want to miss!

If you arrive early, the restaurant staff knows the group well and will point everyone in the right direction, just ask for the Portuguese Meetup. Go ahead and introduce yourself and your friends to them! Share the spirit of our connected global minds!
