What we’re about

Are you a tenor? And can you hold your line? If so, Brighton Acapella needs you! Up to sixteen of us (usually a dozen or so) cram into my living room, sit round a large table, and sing a variety of songs unaccompanied (there’s a keyboard to help with note bashing). The music is all provided. We’re a friendly crowd and it’s very informal. We’ve been going for nearly nine years and have an extensive repertoire, from madrigals through Elgar to the Beatles. Here are some of the songs we’re currently learning:- It Don’t Mean a Thing, Duke Ellington; Fix You, Coldplay; Les Parapluis de Cherbourg,Legrand; and Panis Angelicus. We meet every Monday at 7.30. It would be great to hear from you.
