Just thinking about whether doing any other activities members are into could be a great way to add some spice to the group, other than walking, and more social interactions in lead up to Xmas.

One of my pastimes has been playing snooker, although haven’t played for a while and it’s a damned difficult game, so pool is a great easier alternate.

Idea would be to get maybe 3-4 tables together and take in turns to play depending on numbers and so it’s social. I don’t think costs are that high but depends on numbers and number of tables booked.

This is just to put it out there and if I get a decent number of takers in the run up to the event, maybe 6 plus, I’ll put it on. Castle snooker club is a great little place for those who haven’t been, tucked away behind western road.

If any other members wants to suggest other events in the run up to Xmas and with the darker evenings, please do. Can be flexible with dates on this one.
