The best pub lunch I had this year was at a place called the Horse Inn at Hurstpierpoint - just by sure quality plus quantity. Prices were reasonable at around £20 when we eat there on our last walk.

I was thinking of doing a short 3-4 mile route around Hurstpierpoint before lunch for any of the members who have enjoyed the walks this year, and having a Christmas lunch there (subject to confirming with the pub and availability). Also of course available for any new members.

We could also tie onto a pub quiz with all players giving £2 and winner takes the kitty (I’m the quiz master, lol).

If this is of interest please let me know when is best and I can try and work out dates and times and then book something. Provisionally I think 14th could be a good time and date but I realise this event may not be possible as people have lots on this time of year, including myself (…..as you get invited to different things!)
