Queer features an alcohol soaked and smoke heavy depiction of the 1950s, complete with a longing love story between struggling serviceman Lee and serviceman Eugene, with director Luca Guadigno of Challengers and Call Me By Your Name delivering a symbolic and hallucinogenic film that is nevertheless very emotional at it's core.
