What we’re about

Welcome to the Brisbane - Country Style Dancing group!

This group is for anyone who loves country dancing, music, and socializing.

Whether you're an experienced or just starting out, all levels are welcome to come and learn some new moves and meet like-minded people.

We'll be focusing on various country styles of dancing, including Bush Dancing, Contra Dancing, and more.

Grab your dancing shoes and have a great time while learning some new skills and making new friends.

Bush dance is a country style partner dancing from Australia, which originally took place in the Australian Outback. The dances are mainly based on the traditional folk dances of the UK, US, Ireland and central Europe.

All the dances will be taught before the music start & someone will call out the steps throughout the dance.

No previous experience needed!
No dance partner needed, there will be people to dance with.
You are more than welcome to invite/bring your friends and family to come along.
It's lots of FUN!

Live Band!
Light Supper will be provided!
Cost (cash only): $10/person at the door

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Bringing water bottle is recommended.

A community bush dance with the Good Tunes Band open to all ages and everyone.

Dances are walked through and called – no experience required!
Have lots of exercise and experience an enjoyable evening of social dancing. Meet interesting people of all ages and backgrounds in a relaxed atmosphere.

Entry is $10 per person, $20 per family or affordable donation.

Come for afternoon Contra Dances.
Contra dances are folk dancing originated from the US.
It is easy and fun even if you’ve never danced before.
And we are dancing to our full-on Contra LIVE Band.
