Free music theory lessons at State Library cafe

We have a co-host as our group is shifting to song writing foundations and concepts (with music theory involved). Please give her a warm welcome when you meet her!! 👏👏👏

It's just a casual setting to learn about music theory (writing music notes, reading music and chords, etc) for beginner learners.

Just bring a couple of pencils, eraser, manuscript and your theory books (or I will provide some free hand outs if you don't know where to start).

This is a safe space for serious learners only.

This is not an opportunity for dating or any rude behaviour. Anyone who makes members feel uncomfortable will be removed from the group.
