GAMES DAY: RPG and Gamers Conclave Event
Details
We are experimenting with a new format, a Saturday Games (or recovering an old format if you were around or Severn Gaming Network day)
Starting at 1 pm (after lunch) we'll get some games/RPGs rolling, running until around 5 pm. Then there will be a 1-hour break for people to get food. At 6 pm we'll begin a new set of games/RPGs, which will run til about 10 pm (ish). You are welcome to come to all or just one half.
Unlike our old Thursdays Games Night, we plan to have a few RPG one-shots running too.
We'll be working with the peeps from Quick Fire Games Club on this event. We are going to run this one and if it goes well there may be more, one per season or so. So if you want it to be a success make sure you're there.
SPREADSHEET: See whats on and volunteer to host a game here. (Please not the RPG GMs and games need approval so please contact us)

GAMES: We will have a handful of games organised with hosts ready to run teach and run them, but there should be space for people to randomly turn up with games too. Usually, there will be a couple of epicly long games running and a handful of short games that are always chopping and changing.
We'd like to arrange a load of games as a baseline, so we are looking for people to volunteer to host and teach games they know well.
RPGs: I'll be looking for GMs to run at least a couple of RPGs for each session. We want to have something a bit different so I'm going to say no D&D, Pathfinder (or other D&D spin-offs). Expect that you might have first-time roleplayers, so probably nothing too complex. I'd prefer that the scenarios are preplanned to have a good little self-contained story, rather than monster bashing or an open-ended introduction. It shouldn't be too "adult"/horror as you won't be in a separate room and people (possibly teens) will be able to overhear.
COST: The event is completely free.
FOOD AND DRINK: There is no bar or cafe involved but there will be a kettle for hot drinks and a few corner shops just outside.
AGES: This games day is intended for adults, but teens over the age of 14 who are mature and good at following games are welcome.
LOCATION: Shire JTE Hub, Shirehampton Methodist Church. High St, Shirehampton, Bristol BS11 0DL
