What we’re about
Wake Up is an active global community of young mindfulness practitioners, aged 18-35, inspired by the teachings of Zen Master and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh.
We come together in Bristol to practice mindfulness in order to take care of ourselves, nourish happiness, and contribute to building a healthier and more compassionate society.
We're open to 18-35-year-olds of all backgrounds, genders, faiths, sexualities, cultures and incomes. No experience is necessary to join.
You can join us on Monday evenings at the Centre for Whole Health in Bedminster or at one of our socials.

Welcome to Wake Up Bristol - we're an inclusive meditation and mindfulness group for young people aged 18-35, inspired by the teachings of Zen Master and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh.
We come together every Monday evening to practice mindfulness in order to take care of ourselves, nourish happiness, and contribute to building a healthier and more compassionate society.
A typical session will include a silent or guided meditation, a reading or video from one of the spiritual teachers at Plum Village, and an optional chance to dharma share.
This is a practice of loving speech and deep listening which allows us to collectively embrace our feelings and emotions.
The session begins promptly at 18:30 with doors open from 18:15.
You don't need any prior experience to come along and we're open to people of all backgrounds, genders, faiths, sexualities, cultures and incomes - so all are welcome!*Arrival instructions*
