Join me on a Beacon Mountain hike

Let us have a break between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We will do a loop hike around North and South Beacon Mountains visiting multiple vistas. Free (sights of) wild turkeys are possible

For those who register but do not want to stay with us the whole route I will appreciate if you let me know well ahead of time. The hike happens only if there are people hiking the whole route. Otherwise it will be like leaving somebody alone in the wild or forcing to finish early that makes long drive not worth it and waste of time.

I limit the size of the group to 10 as it is hard to care for a larger group. I will kindly ask those who register to stay with the group. Those who do not want to stay with the group are welcome to join us but, please, do not register and we consider you to be on your own.

Please, be at the parking lot by 9am. Cell phone connection may be not available. Please, give yourself enough time to get there - we will get on the trail in time to be back in time and still have daylight time in reserve.

BEFORE LEAVING YOUR HOME, please , check this announcement for last minute cancellation (anything could happen) And if you register, please, be responsive to my messages regarding your attendance

Bring hiking boots, at least 2 quarts of water, snack/lunch, layers, rain gear etc. I am not sure micro-spikes will be needed but bring them anyway, also do not forget your gloves

Этот ивент - не ивент, а только проект ивента. Предлагаю полететь в самые дальние уголки апстейта и Пеннсильвании на Цессне и посмотреть новые места. Летим на частном самолете Цессна-150. Эта Цессна - двух-местный самолет. Если вы знаете или хотите побывать в каком то интересном месте в округе, то напишите мне и мы придумаем как это организовать. А если не знаете куда лететь, но хотите, то всё равно напишите.
Мы летаем на один или два дня в аэропорты, в окрестностях которых есть куда сходить и что посмотреть. Хочу отметить, что на многих сельских аэродромах дают комплиментарную машину для локальных поездок, которую мы сможем взять и поездить локально.
Когда вы мне пишите сообщение на митапе, проверьте чтобы я мог вам ответить. А то некоторые пишут, но у них переписка заблокирована. Не стесняйтесь задать вопросы, если таковые имеются.
Все авиационные расходы и организацию полёта я беру на себя.
Поскольку это проект ивента, то дату и маршрут мы обсуждаем.

Напоминаю соучастникам о важности соблюдения правил безопасности на территории аэродрома. Практически все самолёты в нашем аэропорту оборудованы пропеллерами. ПРОПЕЛЛЕР ЗАРУБАЕТ НАСМЕРТЬ! СОБЛЮДАЙТЕ ПРАВИЛА БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ, ЭТО ОЧЕНЬ ВАЖНО. Эти правила просты:
1. Не выходите на лётное поле без приглашения и сопровождения.
2. На посадку в самолёт подходите со стороны хвоста и выходите из самолёта в сторону хвоста. Пассажирская дверь справа.
3. Если что-то непонятно - спросите.
