International Foodie Series-Seaside Seafood Classic Part 2
Details
## Details
Intro: Welcome to part 2 of our Seafood Series ride. For those who have attended my previous scheduled rides to City Island in the Bronx, you know how much fun we had. This is part 2 of almost equal distance but takes us through Brooklyn to Coney Island before settling at Sheepshead Bay. Please be on time at 11:00am as we will not wait for any late runners. Wheels up strictly at 11:20.
The Route: This ride will be considered moderate due to distance and riding an urban environment. This ride will primarily be on bicycle lanes. Around 90% if the journey. This ride will start and finish at the Junction. If anyone wants to drop off to head back to the city, Neptune Train Station is nearby. For those that want to continue the adventure, I will bring everyone back to Manhattan. We will cover the Manhattan Bridge and return over the Williamsburg.
Distance: Approx. 33 miles
You can view the route below

Venue: Our lunch stop will be the famous Randazzos Clam Bar who have the BEST Calamari or Galamar as they call it! Arguably some of the best NE style chowder you can get in this area without venturing further North on
I-95. Bring cash or credit cards. Depending on what you order, expect to spend between. $15-$30USD. Remember the motto, fresh seafood is not cheap and cheap seafood is not fresh. Portions are very reasonable. This famous Italian Family owned establishment is nearing 100 years old.
Safety: We will ride at a moderate pace. Riders should feel comfortable riding in a group environment and along traffic. Always pay attention to your surroundings. Helmets are required! No exceptions! Bring lighting and suitable clothing for a moderate distance ride.
Community Rules: 1. All bikes are welcome. 2. Helmets are required. Lights are required if riding after dark. 3. No one gets left behind! 4. Be kind and encourage others. 5. Welcome new experiences and people.
