Ugly sweater: white elephant gift exchange and toy drive

Hello all,

As we prepare for the holiday season, we are going to get together for a ugly sweater/white elephant event. This year, we are also going to be collecting toys for the Frederick rescue mission. I have secured a reservation at Dutch’s daughters for 12 people. If you are unable to make the event please change your RSVP. 

So for the white elephant gift exchange, please keep the gifts at no more than $20 and below is the information for the Frederick rescue missions guidance:

We are collecting toys ($50 and under) for children and teens from infants to age 17.
Here are some ideas for popular gifts from previous years:
Infants - rattles, baby blankets,
Preschoolers - blocks, cars, dolls, coloring supplies
Lower Elementary - legos, barbies, matchbox cars, remote cars, playdough toys
Upper Elementary - legos, barbies, board games, craft and science kits
Middle/High School - hoodies, jewelry, wallets, gloves, baseball caps, board/card games, journaling, make up, cologne
**Sports equipment and stuffed animals are popular for all ages
**Due to space constraints we are unable to accept bikes, scooters, skateboards
