THE HIKE: The trail we'll be following in the Buck Gully Reserve is about 5 total mile out and back (approx 2 hrs) starting from the Poppy Ave entrance gate in Corona del Mar.

We'll be out hiking in a beautiful, lush gully that mostly follows a 365 day-a-year stream. The trail has been improved with aluminum bridges over the stream, so you don't have to worry about stream-crossings and getting wet. It's usually pretty shaded lower in the gully, but please remember sunscreen protection and water for hydration.

MEETING TIME & PLACE: We will be meeting at 7:20am for introductions (leaving at 7:30am sharp) at the entrance gate shown in the picture below on Poppy Ave between 5th Ave and Lilac (next to "The Terraces" recreation center and flag pole - also shown below).
