East Fairmount Park Boxers Trail & Mansion Walk

This will be a 6+ mile moderately paced loop hike through East Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. We will walk on multiple surfaces including city sidewalks, dirt and gravel paths, wooded trails and grassy trails. Expect some muddy patches if recent rain. Points of interest will include the Boxer's Trail, Schuylkill River views, several old mansions and some hidden gems in the park.

We will begin introductions near the benches in front of Lloyd Hall at 9:45am. Rest Rooms usually available in Lloyd Hall. Free street parking is available on Sedgley Dr. (Do NOT park in the Waterworks lot - there is a time limit to park there)

Remember to wear appropriate footwear and bring a snack and water.

Steady rain cancels event. Update will be posted in Meetup by 7:00am the morning of the hike.
