Philadelphia Navy Yard Exploration

The Navy Yard is home to over 20 acres of parks and a 1 mile waterfront trail. On this 5-6 mile urban hike, we'll explore the historic buildings, dry docks, and ships, as well as the modern buildings, gardens and the public art works. After the walk, those who are interested can grab some food at the onsite Dinic's Roast Pork (cash only) for outdoor eating along a scenic dry dock.

We will begin introductions at 10am at the corner of Intrepid Avenue and South 13th Street. There is free street parking on Intrepid Ave and on 13th St. Restrooms available near the start of the walk.

We will be walking on flat sidewalks and grass lawns for 2-3 hours.

Remember to bring water and snacks.
