Cranksgiving Ride and Food Drive
Details
Not everyone can put food on the table this Thanksgiving. Since 1999, Cranksgiving (cranksgiving.org) has been celebrated in 100s of cities around the USA. We encourage you to ride your bike to the local grocery store and pick up a few items to donate to a local food bank.
This year we will host a ride from the shop. It will be a social pace and no drop. Figure around 20 miles, the majority on paved paths and a little bit of road.
This event is open to everyone. Bring family and friends.
Butts in saddles ready to go at 10:30 am. The shop opens at 10 am if you need anything and to sign a ride waiver.
Bring a couple of non-perishable food items to donate to the Highland Park Food Pantry. See more information here and a list of appropriate donation items.

If you can’t attend the day of the ride, bring any food items to the shop between Monday, November 11 and Sunday, November 17th.
Helmets are mandatory.
Flat kit (tube, CO2, tire irons, etc.)
Front and rear lights highly recommended.
Bring hydration and nutrition to get you through a 20 mile ride.
