What we’re about
At Be Embodied our goal is to make trauma informed, mindfulness meditation based yoga, accessible to everyone. We are hoping to help people discover how movement is medicine and get back in the studios. People need people, and yoga classes are a great way to build community!
We offer a free day of yoga quarterly and a weekly donation based class. We are the home of Mindflow Yoga, a style of yoga designed to keep one’s mind connected with their body through mindfulness meditation based and trauma informed instruction.
This style of yoga encourages students to mindfully keep their attention inside the four corners of their mat while they practice. The mainstay is to let the body inform the pose rather than the pose inform the body. This practice focuses on self-compassion, focusing the mind, and mastering how to take yoga off the mat and into life!
We also offer ongoing workshops and our space is available for rent. We are located in Williamsville and Kenmore!
