What we’re about
Learning by doing, we provide a supportive environment to practice your public speaking and leadership skills by delivering speeches or filling meeting roles.
What to expect at a meeting?
A meeting consists of 3 prepared speeches typically 5-7 minutes each, impromptu speaking requiring participants to deliver a 1-2 minute speech without preparation on a given topic. Various evaluation and meeting roles all designed to provide feedback to encourage and improve our members skills. There's a 10 minute break at about 8pm.

Every 2nd & 4th Monday at University College Birmingham, Summer Row, Birmingham B3 1JB, in the Aviation Suite on the 9th floor. Reception have a list of expected attendees, check in with them and they will send you up to the meeting. Arrive at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. There is free street parking after 6pm on Lionel Street adjacent to the College, subject to change.

Membership
As a guest it's free to attend up to three meetings whilst deciding if you'd like to join.
If you do see value in joining and decide to become a member you will need to complete a membership form and pay the membership fees. This is £80 which consists of a one-off joining fee of £20 and £60 membership fee to cover 6 months membership depending on which month you join.
