Our tradition is to paint on the Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, and be thankful for one another's company and stimulation.
Mori Point is an old favorite, partly because of the scenery, and also because lunch at the 1950-ish American food golf course restaurant is sooooo comforting.
Lots to paint, but be aware that parking is limited, bathroom only at start of trail head, and it's almost a half mile if you go all the way to the beach. You can paint lots along the way too if you don't want to go far.
Trees, chaparral, wildlife, beach, ocean. Gorgeous!!!!
