There's a lot going on here...please read the description!!

It's been a while since we've gotten together to play bunco. We will be renting out the clubhouse at the Village Grove Apartments where there is lots of space and lots of parking.

**The cost to join is $15.** This will be split between the cost of the rental, the kitty and the cost of running the meetup group (doubled since last year).

There will be 3 different events going on - cookie exchange, bunco with potluck lunch and a gift exchange. **You DO NOT have to participate in cookie or gift exchanges if you just want to play bunco.**

If you want to take part in the cookie exchange, I'll be posting a separate event so we can keep track of what everyone is bringing for the exchange vs what people are bringing for the potluck. If you want to play bunco, you must sign up for this bunco event.

We'll start right off with the optional cookie exchange (please RSVP to the separate cookie event)....then have lunch and get down to playing 4 rounds of bunco. Once bunco is done, we'll determine the winners (most wins, most losses, most buncos, most baby buncos) and divvy up the kitty.

Those wanting to take part in the gift exchange, please bring a nice, wrapped gift, approximate value of $20. No broken, dirty, used gifts. Great opportunity to regift. Want to participate, but stuck for ideas - lottery scratch offs, gift cards, nice chocolates, wine, etc work. Exchange will take place after bunco - group decision - draw numbers or assign numbers based on bunco wins/losses.

Once the exchange is over, help to clean up will be appreciated. If all goes well, we will do this again.

Bunco is a simple dice game with no experience needed. Since everyone plays a little differently, we'll go over the rules before we start. Novice players will be teamed with veteran players so no need to be worried that you won't understand the game. The point of the game is to have fun.

For the potluck, please post what you are bringing. If your dish requires serving utensils, please bring them. This is a BYOB event. If someone would like to bring a case of water, soda or a bottle of wine to share, that would we great - mention it in the comments.

For bunco to work best, we need teams of 4. Last minute cancellations or no-shows without contacting the organizers with a good excuse, will get you banned from the group. Signing up for the event is a commitment to attend.

Dice, pens, scorecards will be provided. If you want to use your own dice/pen feel free to bring your own. We have enough dice so no one will have to share - pick your 3 and you will use them throughout the game.

**Directions to the building:**
Take Biesterfield East to Wellington Road - turn right
Turn left on Cheekwood Ct.
follow this road as far as it will go and the building is on the right.
There are only three parking spots at the building, but you can park along the street or there is a parking lot to the left.
