### Do I have to run fast?

This is a festive **fun run**! Some people will be running fast, others will be jogging sedately, walking, strolling, skipping, hopping - or even scootering! Children in decorated buggies are welcome, as are mobility scooters. If you are bringing your dog feel free to dress them up – but short leads are a must.

Oakhaven says
“Dig out and don your finest festive costume and join us for this year’s Santa Dash as we turn Lymington into a sea of Santas and festive friends to help fundraise for Oakhaven Hospice.
Give Santa a run for his money all you budding superheroes, elves, snowmen, reindeer, puddings, crackers, and fairies. Unite and run, jog, walk or stroll around the streets of Lymington. A sea of Santa’s, all running or walking for Oakhaven Hospice, raises much-needed funds so specialist services can continue across the community.”

It's an easily do-able course, 3k, (or under a mile and a half if you're still using old money) and lots of fun. The best bit is that everyone is dressed up in their Santa outfits - provided for you to keep when you pay your admission charge. Oakhaven hope to supply everyone with a Santa suit, however, please be aware the suit is not guaranteed as part of your entry fee and will be provided on a first come first served basis. (I have at least one from former years to spare if you want to borrow.). Or come as an elf, a Christmas fairy, or a bunch of mistletoe - whatever floats your boat (or sides your sledge?)

Time: Registration from 9am in Lymington Community Centre / Starts @ 11.30am

Tickets: Adults £15.00, Child £7.50(16 & under) or Family £40 (2 adults & 3 children) Dogs welcome, but must be kept on a short lead.
