Meeting Point: Alpine Lodge

Route Details: We'll take Alice Eastwood FR to Troop 80, TCC, Staplevelt, Pantoll and Easy Grade to Mt Theater for lunch. We will return to the lodge via Bootjack, Matt Davis and Hogback. Hike is 8-9 miles, 1400.'

For those who may want a shorter hike, there is an option at Pantoll to take Matt Davis to Bootjack campground for lunch, and continue on Matt Davis trail to Hogback and return to the lodge. Approx 6 miles.

Plan to join us at Alpine Lodge for an after hike social. If you bring an appetizer to share, it will be greatly appreciated.

If you wish to bring along a guest, please contact your hike leader. Based on feasibility of the space allotment, the hike leader will confirm or deny the guest addition.
Please arrive at the meeting place by 9:15am to complete the paperwork.
At the start of the hike, you must complete and sign a CAC liability waiver. Please let the hike leader know if you are interested in assisting with the sign in process.
The hike leader will keep you informed of any changes in the plan for the hike. If you are concerned about the weather, please check for local red flag warnings with the US Weather Service or call Mt Tam State Park at 415-388-2070.
Advance signup is required via MeetUp or through contacting the hike leader. If you have RSVP'd but realize you can't attend the hike, please notify the hike's on-line Meetup site by NOON the day before the hike (unless it is an emergency). Please change your RSVP to "Not Going" (in order to do this on MeetUp, go to the Attendees section, click on the 3 dots to the right of your name (for options) or contact the hike leader before the hike. It is important to do this to allow someone on the wait list to join the hike.
No guests or dogs are allowed on the hike.
