Meeting Point: Bootjack Campground parking lot

Route Details: **8.7 miles. 1400 ft elevation gain.**
Join Robert Feist for this scenic hike that will start on the Matt Davis Trail and then onto Bolinas Ridge for beautiful coastal views. We'll take the Laurel Dell Fire Rd, Cataract and Mickey O'Brien trails to Barth's Retreat for lunch. Social trails will then take us past the "Castle" and "Throne" and on to Rock Spring. The Old Mine and Riding & Hiking trails will get us back to Bootjack.

Please arrive at the meeting place by 9:15am to complete the paperwork.
At the start of the hike, you must complete and sign a CAC liability waiver. Please let the hike leader know if you are interested in assisting with the sign in process.

The hike leader will keep you informed of any changes in the plan for the hike. If you are concerned about the weather, please check for local red flag warnings with the US Weather Service or call Mt Tam State Park at 415-388-2070.

Advance signup is required via MeetUp or through contacting the hike leader. If you have RSVP'd but realize you can't attend the hike, please notify the hike's on-line Meetup site by NOON the day before the hike (unless it is an emergency). Please change your RSVP to "Not Going" (in order to do this on MeetUp, go to the Attendees section, click on the 3 dots to the right of your name (for options) or contact the hike leader before the hike. It is important to do this to allow someone on the wait list to join the hike.

If you wish to bring along a guest, please contact your hike leader. Based on feasibility of the space allotment, the hike leader will confirm or deny the guest addition. .No guests or dogs are allowed on the hike.
