Details:

This will be a moderately paced hike of about 6+ miles and roughly 1000 ft of elevation gain.
We will be joined by potential new members.
\*Please try to carpool as much as possible and park in the South lot as there will be limited parking available.
We are planning a Social after, and we welcome any refreshments you wish to provide.
Please plan to arrive at Alpine Lodge south entrance by 9:15 a.m. to allow time for signing in and orientation before we begin our hike at 9:30am.
Bring plenty of water, lunch and a hat. We expect to return to the lodge by 2:00pm -2:30 pm.
At the start of the hike, you must complete and sign a CAC liability waiver. Please let the hike leader know if you are interested in assisting with the sign in process.
The hike leader will also keep you informed of any changes in the plan for the hike. The exact route will depend on weather that day and the hike leader's best plan for the day. If you are concerned about the weather, please check for local red flag warnings with the US Weather Service or call Mt.Tam State Park at 415-388-2070.
Advance signup is required via CAC MeetUp or by contacting the hike leader. If you have RSVP'd but realize you can't attend the hike, please change your RSVP to "Not Going." To do this on the CAC MeetUp site, go to the Attendees section, click on the 3 dots to the right of your name and select the "not going" option, or contact the hike leader before the hike. It is important that you do this by NOON on the day before the hike (unless an emergency), as it will allow someone on the waiting list to join the hike.
No guests or dogs are allowed on the hike.
